We're a retaining wall team working across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, from timber garden walls to full concrete sleeper and sandstone rebuilds. We help homeowners, builders and landholders get a wall in the ground that actually suits the site, not a standard install that ignores what the soil is doing underneath it.

How We Work

Every job starts with a proper look at the site, the height needed, what the wall's carrying, and how the ground behaves through a wet season versus a dry one. Toowoomba's black clay moves more than most builders plan for, so footings and drainage get sized to that movement rather than a generic spec. Where council approval or AS 4678 engineering applies, usually once a wall passes a metre or carries a driveway or structure, we sort that before anything goes in the ground, not after.

Why This Work Matters

A retaining wall is one of the few jobs on a property where getting it wrong doesn't just look bad, it fails. A wall built without proper drainage behind it eventually gives way to the pressure, taking a garden bed, a driveway or a fence line down with it. Done properly, a wall holds a slope, levels a block for a garden or a shed, or gives a boundary the structure it needs, and keeps doing it for years without a second thought.
